Cory L. Hojka
Cory L. Hojka is a Registered Patent Attorney and a Partner at Hojka Qadeer. He has experience in patent, trademark, and copyright matters, with a particular emphasis on handling cases related to science and technology.
Cory has extensive experience in patent litigation and patent prosecution in a variety of electronic and software-based technologies. These technologies include Internet telephony, packet-switched networks, online transactions, software products, cellular communications, financial services, and consumer electronics.
Cory previously worked as an associate in the New York office of Winston & Strawn, a large internationally-recognized law firm, and in the New York office of Dewey & LeBoeuf. Prior to law school, Cory worked as a research engineer in Boeing’s Space and Communication division, where he was responsible for developing, simulating, and testing complex communication systems.
Cory is licensed to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He received undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering from Case Western Reserve University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, respectively, and a law degree from the University of Chicago Law School.
